Blue Nose Aerial Imaging provides comprehensive training programs for its franchisees to ensure they are well-prepared to operate their drone services business. The training includes:
Online Blue Nose Academy: An online platform offering courses on advanced airspace authorizations, photography composition and editing, camera basics, videography shot types, foundations of GIS and remote sensing, thermal and multispectral imaging, orthomosaic mapping, and vegetation indices.
In-Person Training Workshops: A 3-day workshop that combines classroom instruction with hands-on field exercises. Topics covered include airspace management, drone photography essentials, ground control point installation, mapping missions, thermal and multispectral data capture, and inspections using drone data.
Customized Training Solutions: Tailored training experiences designed to meet the specific needs of franchisees and their teams, focusing on elevating drone operations to the next level.
Territory Protection
Blue Nose Aerial Imaging provides each franchisee with a defined “Operating Territory,” agreed upon and approved by the franchisor. However, this territory is not exclusive, and franchisees may face competition from other franchisees, company-owned outlets, or other distribution channels controlled by the franchisor.
The franchisor may operate or license others outside the assigned territory, even in nearby areas. Additionally, Blue Nose can authorize other franchisees to perform services within a territory under special programs like national accounts.
