Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza provides a structured training program designed to ensure franchisees and their staff are fully prepared to operate within the brand’s standards. The training includes the following components:

  1. Initial Training Program: This is mandatory and lasts up to four weeks at a designated training restaurant. The franchisee and their Operating Principal must attend and successfully complete this program, which includes both classroom and on-the-job instruction.
  2. Additional Personnel Training: The franchisor may require other management or restaurant staff to participate in portions of the initial training. All associated costs for travel, meals, and wages are the franchisee’s responsibility.
  3. Refresher Training: Anthony’s may require franchisees to attend periodic refresher training programs at designated locations. These sessions are intended to maintain up-to-date operational standards and procedures.
  4. Ongoing Assistance and Training: Beyond formal training sessions, the franchisor offers continued operational support and may provide additional training as needed based on performance or system updates.

Territory Protection

Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza grants franchisees a specific protected territory defined in their franchise agreement. Within this area, the franchisor agrees not to establish or license another traditional Anthony’s restaurant. This protection is subject to the franchisee remaining in compliance with the agreement and meeting performance obligations.

However, the territory protection does not extend to non-traditional locations or alternative channels of distribution.
