Aire-Master Franchise FDD, Costs & Fees (2025)

Aire-Master provides odor control and commercial hygiene services, helping businesses maintain fresh and clean environments with innovative solutions.

Founded in 1958 in Missouri, Aire-Master originally launched as a provider of professional deodorizing services. Its founder, Jerry McCauley, leveraged his background in creating cleaning solutions to develop a powerful odor-neutralizing formula—one that would go on to influence the entire odor control industry.

By the 1970s, Aire-Master expanded its operations through franchising, offering services in odor management and hygiene for commercial clients. The company continues to produce its signature line of deodorants, hand soaps, and cleaning products at its main facility in Nixa, Missouri.

Aire-Master stands out in the hygiene market thanks to its commitment to in-house manufacturing. This approach not only ensures consistent product quality but also enables the brand to quickly adapt to customer demands, giving it a distinct advantage over competitors.

Training

The franchise system provided by Aire-Master includes several comprehensive training programs designed to support new and existing franchisees:

  1. Initial Headquarters Training: Franchisees and key personnel are offered up to five days of in-person training at Aire-Master’s headquarters in Missouri. Aire-Master covers travel and lodging for up to two attendees, along with some meal expenses.
  2. Territory-Based Training: A company representative conducts up to five days of on-site training at the franchisee’s location. This program ensures that the franchisee's team is trained in their actual working environment, at no extra cost.
  3. Access to New Franchisee Sessions: Franchisees may attend additional training sessions held for new franchisees if space allows. Aire-Master may charge a fee for this, and all associated expenses are the responsibility of the franchisee.
  4. Online Training Courses: Aire-Master provides ongoing access to proprietary online training modules. These courses include mandatory and recommended procedures and are updated regularly to reflect current standards.

Territory Protection

Aire-Master offers territory protection to its franchisees by granting them an exclusive geographic area defined in the franchise agreement. This area is typically described in a map and tailored based on population and business potential, often with a minimum population of 500,000.

Within this territory, Aire-Master agrees not to open another company-owned or franchised outlet selling the same or similar products or services.

However, this exclusivity is conditional. Franchisees must meet minimum sales volumes based on the territory’s population, with specific benchmarks in the first and second years. Failure to meet these performance standards can lead to the alteration or revocation of the franchisee’s territorial rights.
