AeroWest is a woman-owned, family-run odor-control and air-care franchise founded in 1943. Headquartered in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, AeroWest manufactures and services its proprietary line of odor-control, hygiene, and scent-marketing products.
The company began franchising in 1978 under the parent West Chemical Products and now operates more than two dozen U.S. locations.
AeroWest serves a wide range of clients—from NFL stadiums and hospitals to commercial buildings—offering odor removal, restroom hygiene, scent marketing, hand soap and sanitizer upkeep, and floor-mat services.
AeroWest differentiates itself through its family-business culture, home-based model (no storefront needed), transparent support, and patented odor-control systems dating back to its first patent in 1905.
Here's what you would need to invest if you were to start this franchise. These costs are provided by the franchisor in the Franchise Disclosure Document.
AeroWest provides comprehensive training to ensure franchisees are equipped to successfully operate their business. Here are the training programs offered:
AeroWest grants its franchisees a designated, non-exclusive Route, which defines the area in which they may operate their business. However, this Route does not confer any form of territorial exclusivity.
Franchisees do not have the right to solicit business from active Accounts of other AeroWest franchises or from clients serviced through AeroWest’s alternative channels, such as janitorial companies using their products. The franchisor explicitly retains the right to establish company-owned or franchised locations anywhere, including near an existing franchisee’s Route.
Additionally, AeroWest may grant franchises, sell products, and offer services—even identical ones—close to a franchisee's designated Route. This model means franchisees could face competition from other franchisees, company operations, or national account arrangements within their own territory.
