True REST Franchise FDD, Costs & Fees (2025)

True REST offers float therapy sessions, promoting relaxation, stress relief, and wellness through sensory deprivation and buoyant floatation experiences.

Founded in 2009 by Nick and Holly Janicki, True REST Float Spa has emerged as a trailblazer in the wellness industry, specializing in flotation therapy.

Starting with a single location in Scottsdale, Arizona, the brand expanded into franchising in 2014 to bring its innovative wellness solutions to a broader audience.

Flotation therapy lies at the core of True REST’s services, offering clients the opportunity to float in custom-designed pods filled with a carefully balanced mix of water and Epsom salts. This serene, distraction-free environment fosters deep relaxation and a meditative state, delivering benefits such as reduced stress, pain relief, improved sleep, and holistic mental and physical rejuvenation.

True REST’s business model is built around memberships, ensuring steady and recurring revenue for franchisees. This approach aligns with the growing trend in the wellness industry toward subscription-based services, emphasizing long-term customer engagement over one-time transactions.

It includes initial training programs covering essential aspects of spa management, such as float therapy techniques, customer service, marketing, operational procedures, and quality standards.

Franchisees and their designated Spa Managers are required to complete this mandatory training, which includes both classroom instruction and on-the-job training at a True REST-owned Float Spa.

The franchisor also provides ongoing or refresher training periodically, which may include seminars, conventions, and other learning opportunities. Attendance at these sessions may involve additional fees and related travel expenses.

True REST provides territory protection by designating a protected area around the franchise's Authorized Location, typically up to three miles in suburban areas or less in urban zones. Within this area, no other True REST Float Spa franchise will be established.

The franchisor may operate other distribution channels outside this territory, and franchisees are prohibited from soliciting business in other franchisees’ protected areas. This ensures fair competition and franchise growth while safeguarding territorial integrity.
