Training

The Garage Floor Company provides a structured set of training programs to ensure franchisees are adequately prepared to operate their franchised business. The training requirements are as follows:

  1. Initial Training Program: Prior to opening, the Franchisee’s Managing Owner and one designated manager must complete an initial training program approved by the Franchisor. This training lasts approximately five days and can be held in person or remotely. If more than two individuals attend, an additional fee of $500 per person per day is charged. Franchisees are responsible for all related travel, lodging, and wage expenses.
  2. Ongoing Training: After completing the initial program, the Franchisee is responsible for ensuring all employees receive training that meets the Franchisor’s standards.
  3. Refresher and System-Wide Training: The Franchisor may require the Franchisee or their Managing Owner and Manager to attend periodic refresher courses or system-wide training programs. These may occur at a designated location or online, and the Franchisee bears all costs related to attendance.

Territory Protection

The Garage Floor Company grants franchisees a defined, non-exclusive operating territory, typically covering up to 150,000 qualified households. Franchisees must operate, market, and sell only within this area and cannot solicit customers in another franchisee’s territory.

The franchisor may assign additional territories or modify existing ones but retains the right to operate or license others outside the franchisee’s territory. Franchisees must cease servicing an open area once it’s assigned to another franchisee.
