Training

Floors To Go provides its franchisees with multiple training and support programs to help them effectively operate within the FTG System:

  1. Voluntary Sales and Management Training Programs: Floors To Go may offer optional training sessions focusing on sales and management skills. These are elective and franchisees who choose to attend are responsible for associated costs, including a per-trainee fee, travel, lodging, and meals.
  2. Elective Conferences and Conventions: FTG organizes annual conventions and other optional conferences within the United States. These gatherings include additional training and networking opportunities. During the past year, 100% of new members participated in these programs, highlighting their value to franchisees.
  3. Pre-Opening Materials and System Information: Prior to franchise operations, FTG provides essential documents such as advertising materials, a price list of approved vendors, and information on carpet and floor covering selections. This ensures franchisees are well-prepared from the outset.

Territory Protection

Floors To Go grants franchisees a defined territory where no other Floors To Go Showrooms will be opened or licensed. This territory is outlined in the Membership Agreement.

However, the protection is limited. Franchisees may still face competition from FTG affiliates, alternative sales channels like Shop At Home, and other brands under different trademarks. Territory boundaries may also be reduced upon renewal or transfer.
