TGA Premier Sports Franchise FDD, Costs & Fees (2025)

TGA Premier Sports offers youth sports programs, introducing children to golf, tennis, and other sports through educational and engaging curricula.

TGA Premier Sports is a youth sports franchise dedicated to enriching children's lives through golf and tennis instruction. Founded in 2003 in Los Angeles, California, TGA (which stands for Teach, Grow, Achieve) began franchising in 2006.

The company is headquartered in Los Angeles and operates nationwide through a franchise model that brings sports directly to schools, community centers, and other local venues.

TGA offers structured programs for children ages 5 to 13, using a play-based curriculum that blends athletic skill-building with academic lessons in STEM and life values like sportsmanship and perseverance.

The franchise’s unique model eliminates the need for dedicated sports facilities, allowing franchisees to run mobile classes at partner locations with low overhead costs.

Training

TGA Premier Sports offers a structured training program to prepare franchisees for operating their business effectively. Below is a summary of the training provided:

  1. Franchisee Training Program: This is mandatory for the franchisee or their Operating Principal and includes approximately six days of instruction—about 10 hours of classroom and 40 hours of on-the-job training. It is conducted at a location specified by the franchisor or may be provided via webinar or other electronic means.
  2. Initial Training Program: Held before the business starts operations, this includes instructional sessions tailored to the experience level of the participants. The franchisor may conduct all or part of this training through web-based modules.
  3. Enhanced Business Coaching and Training: For the first TGA business, the franchisor provides three days of coaching before or during operations, funded by a $5,000 fee paid in advance. This includes daily training charges and additional costs for remote coaching sessions.

Territory Protection

TGA Premier Sports provides franchisees with a defined territory, which is typically outlined using zip codes or geographic boundaries and must be mutually agreed upon.

Within this territory, as long as the franchisee remains compliant, the franchisor will not authorize another TGA Premier Sports unit to operate under the same brand. This provides franchisees with a degree of operational protection and exclusive marketing rights in their designated area.

However, the franchise does not offer absolute exclusivity. TGA Premier Sports retains broad rights to operate or license similar or competitive businesses using different trademarks, and to sell services via alternative distribution channels—including online, in retail, or at non-traditional venues like schools, arenas, or resorts—even within a franchisee’s territory.
