Training 

Sport Clips provides an extensive training program for its franchisees and their staff, ensuring thorough preparation and ongoing support:

Pre-Opening Training

• Up to two individuals approved by the franchisor, including at least one principal of the business and one designated manager, receive this training.
• The franchisor offers on-site assistance, pre-opening guidance, and supervision during the opening phase.
• Franchisees are given a set of confidential operating manuals, which may include training programs in various media formats. These manuals cover standards and specifications for procedures, equipment, supplies, inventory, management, and operations.

Post-Opening Training

• Continuous and general advisory support is provided for the operation and promotion of the franchise.
• The franchisor upholds high standards of quality, cleanliness, safety, customer satisfaction, and service.
• Periodic training programs for the entire franchise network are coordinated and conducted by the franchisor.

Initial Training Program

• Before opening the franchise, franchisees complete the Team Leader Orientation self-study program and an initial training program in Georgetown, Texas, at no additional charge, excluding travel and living expenses.
• The franchise must be under the full-time supervision of a trained and certified manager.

Territory Protection

Sport Clips franchisees benefit from territory protection under specific conditions. During the initial term of the franchise agreement, each franchisee is granted a protected territory, defined as either a one-mile radius around their location or a radius encompassing a total population of 25,000 people.

During this period, the franchisor agrees not to establish company-owned units or license other Sport Clips franchises within the protected territory. After the initial term, while exclusive territory rights are not guaranteed, franchisees are given the first right of refusal for any new locations within their original territory.
