Training

SmartStyle provides a comprehensive training program to ensure franchisees are well-equipped to operate their businesses effectively.

The franchisor delivers initial training to familiarize franchisees and their managerial staff with operational aspects, which must be successfully completed before the store can open.

This training is held either at a designated location, such as the corporate headquarters or an operating SmartStyle store, or virtually.

Additionally, SmartStyle may offer optional training sessions covering topics of its choice. These sessions are at the franchisee's expense, including fees for attendance and any related travel or accommodation costs. Such training is aimed at further enhancing the operational and managerial capabilities of the franchisees.

Territory Protection

SmartStyle does not provide territorial protection to its franchisees. While franchisees operate their stores in approved Walmart locations, the franchise agreement does not grant exclusivity within a geographic area.

This means other SmartStyle franchises or company-owned stores could potentially operate nearby, depending on the franchisor's discretion.The absence of territory protection allows SmartStyle to maintain flexibility in market expansion.
