Training

Renue Systems provides several structured training programs to its franchisees as part of its franchise offering. The training is aimed at ensuring consistency in service quality and operational standards across all franchise locations. The key types of training include:

1. Initial Training Program: This mandatory program consists of a minimum of 66 hours over seven days, conducted at the company’s facility in Lombard, Illinois, or another designated location. It covers both classroom instruction and practical fieldwork on topics such as cleaning, odor removal, and stain removal. The franchisee, their manager (if applicable), and up to two additional employees must attend and pass this training before the franchise can begin operations.
2. Ongoing Training: Renue may require franchisees to participate in up to one week of refresher training annually. This training, focusing on operations and marketing, may be held at a company-selected location and can occur during annual conventions or separate sessions.
3. Convention and Group Sessions: Franchisees or their representatives must attend conventions, seminars, or meetings organized by Renue. These gatherings are part of the brand’s continuing education and networking strategy.
4. Advisory Services: Renue provides ongoing advisory support via phone, email, webinars, or in-person visits. This helps franchisees maintain operational alignment with company standards and address challenges.

Territory Protection

Renue Systems grants each franchisee a defined "Protected Area" as specified in their Franchise Agreement. Within this area, Renue agrees not to open or license another RENUE® business, thereby providing a degree of territory protection.

However, franchisees do not receive an exclusive territory and may still face competition from other Renue franchisees, company-owned locations, or other brands controlled by Renue. Despite the protection, Renue retains the right to sell products or services under different brand names within a franchisee’s Protected Area using alternative channels like e-commerce or telemarketing.

Franchisees must direct their marketing efforts within their assigned territory and are expected to refer leads outside their Protected Area to the appropriate franchisee. This setup offers partial protection while allowing the franchisor flexibility in broader market strategies.
