The franchise RedKnight offers a structured training system designed to ensure new franchisees and their teams are fully prepared for launch and ongoing operations.

  1. Initial Training Program: RedKnight provides a one-week initial training session, typically conducted Monday through Friday, with at least seven hours per day. It is held at the corporate office in Montgomeryville, Pennsylvania, or another designated location. This training must be completed within six weeks of signing the franchise agreement and covers classroom instruction, hands-on training, and role-playing exercises.
  2. Training Content and Methodology: The training is based on the franchise’s Operations Manual and includes topics such as daily operations, CRM usage, billing, marketing, and software tools. It is overseen by experienced personnel, and all attendees are expected to review the Operations Manual before attending.
  3. Post-Opening Market Support: Within the first 30 days of opening, RedKnight provides up to two days of on-site market support to help evaluate business readiness and address operational needs. This support is included at no extra charge.
  4. Supplemental and Refresher Training: The franchisor may require attendance at additional training sessions during the franchise term. These are held at the franchisor’s discretion and may be subject to a fee of $500 per person per day, plus expenses.

Territory Protection

RedKnight grants franchisees a defined Protected Area, typically either an 8-mile radius or an area containing 15,000 businesses, depending on population density. While this territory offers some protection—ensuring no other RedKnight franchise or company-owned unit will operate within it—this is conditional on the franchisee not being in default and meeting performance requirements.

The specific boundaries are finalized in the Franchise Agreement. However, RedKnight retains significant reserved rights that limit full exclusivity.

The franchisor may operate or license others to operate RedKnight businesses immediately outside or adjacent to the Protected Area, and it may also sell services within and beyond any territory through channels like the internet, direct mail, or catalogs.
