Training

Priceless provides comprehensive training programs to ensure that franchisees are well-prepared to operate a Priceless Vehicle Rental Business. The training offered by the franchisor includes the following:

  1. Initial Operations Training: This program must be completed by the franchisee and/or their General Manager before the business opens. It focuses on the company’s philosophy, System standards, and operational essentials. The training typically lasts 4 to 5 days and is held at the Franchisee Service Center in Laurel, Maryland, or optionally at a regional site. Instructional materials include the Operating Manual, rental agreements, operational reports, and other business documents.
  2. On-the-Job Training: After completing Initial Operations Training, franchisees or their managers may receive hands-on training at a company store. This optional program varies in content based on daily operational issues and includes no additional training fee, although participants must cover their travel and living expenses.
  3. Additional and Refresher Training: Priceless periodically offers further training through regional and national meetings, online classes, webinars, and live sessions. These may carry reasonable fees, and franchisees will be informed in advance of any costs.
  4. Rental Car Online University (RCOLU): This resource offers 100 to 300 courses, including online and live formats, covering Rental Counter Practices, Business Management, Communication, Technical Skills, and Employment Practices. Enrollment is flexible and discretionary for franchisees and their employees. A general $25 monthly fee applies, but individual course fees are waived.

Territory Protection

Priceless offers territory protection only for certain franchise types. Franchisees with a Six-Mile Primary Service Area or an Airport Franchise receive exclusive rights to operate within their defined territory, as long as they comply with the agreement.

Single Point Franchises receive no territorial protection. The franchisor may open or authorize other Priceless or non-Priceless businesses nearby, even within the same area.
