Training

Pizza Twist provides a structured training program to ensure franchisees and their teams are adequately prepared to operate their businesses successfully. Here are the main training components:

1. New Franchisee Training
   Franchisees and their general managers must complete a comprehensive training program at least four weeks before opening. Training includes 65 hours of instruction (32 hours on-site and 33 hours virtual) and covers operational procedures, the Brand Standards Manual, and hands-on demonstrations. There is no tuition fee for two attendees, but travel and lodging costs are the franchisee’s responsibility.
2. Pre-Opening Training and Support
   Pizza Twist offers standard pre-opening training to the Principal Executive and up to two employees, conducted at their headquarters or a designated franchise location. This includes market introduction planning and at least five days of on-site opening support. Although the training itself is free, the franchisee covers travel and living expenses.
3. Post-Opening Assistance and Continuing Education
   Following the opening, Pizza Twist may provide consulting support via phone or in person, with possible fees for travel or on-site visits. The franchisor may also require ongoing or refresher training for the Principal Executive or employees at its discretion. Attendance at annual meetings or conventions may also be required.

Territory Protection

Pizza Twist grants each franchisee an exclusive territory that typically encompasses a population between 30,000 and 50,000 people. Within this Protected Territory, Pizza Twist agrees not to establish or license another business selling similar products under the same or similar trademarks.

This exclusivity is guaranteed regardless of sales volume or market penetration, and cannot be modified without the franchisee’s consent. However, the protection has clear limits. Pizza Twist retains the right to sell products under any trademarks—including the Marks—through other distribution channels like the internet, even within the franchisee’s territory.
