Training 

The franchisor offers an extensive training program for franchisees, combining both classroom and on-the-job training. This initial training is mandatory for the Operating Principal and two full-time Managers, covering essential aspects of running a Your Pie franchise, including marketing, financial management, labor management, technology, vendor relations, and food safety.

Initial Training Program

  • Your Pie New Franchise Owner (NFO) Training: This classroom training segment takes place at the franchisor's headquarters in Alpharetta, GA, and covers key topics such as marketing, financial management, labor management, technology, and vendor relations.
  • Your Pie Position Training/Team Member: This on-the-job training occurs at a certified training site designated by the franchisor, focusing on practical skills like opening and closing procedures, labor management, inventory/ordering, technology/POS systems, and food safety.

Ongoing Training and Support The franchisor provides continuous training and support, including:

  • Periodic refresher courses.
  • Assistance with the grand opening advertising program.
  • Ongoing operational guidance based on reports or inspections, covering standards, specifications, operating procedures, purchasing, advertising, marketing, employee training, and administrative procedures.
  • Additional or specialized guidance, assistance, and training upon request, as deemed necessary.

Territory Protection

The franchisor provides territorial protections for franchisees by designating a specific "Territory" for each franchise. As long as the franchisee complies fully with the Franchise Agreement, the franchisor and its affiliates will not operate or grant a franchise for another Your Pie Restaurant within that Territory during the agreement's term.

However, this protection does not apply to "Non-Traditional Sites," which are locations with independent customer traffic, such as military bases, shopping malls, airports, stadiums, and similar venues.
