Training

Initial Training Program: Franchisees of Pigtails & Crewcuts must participate in a comprehensive initial training program. This program, essential for operating a franchise salon, lasts at least three days at a designated facility in Atlanta, Georgia, or another specified location, plus two days of on-the-job training at the franchisee’s salon.

Comprehensive Training Coverage: The training includes both classroom instruction and practical, on-the-job training. Key topics covered are the salon's mission, franchisee obligations, pre-opening preparations, equipment usage, bookkeeping, marketing strategies, sales techniques, personnel training, inventory control, and more.

Ongoing and Advanced Training: Franchisees, operating managers, and other managers may be required to attend periodic refresher or advanced training courses and annual conferences. These sessions are typically held at the franchisor's facility in Atlanta or other designated locations to ensure ongoing skill enhancement and adherence to franchise standards.

Attendance Requirements: The franchisee, or if the franchise is a business entity, a principal owner, along with the operating manager, must attend and successfully complete the training program. Failure to do so may result in the termination of the franchise agreement.

Territory Protection

Pigtails & Crewcuts provides territory protection to its franchisees, ensuring an exclusive area typically encompassing a three-mile radius around their salon location.

As long as franchisees adhere to the terms of the franchise agreement, the franchisor commits to not operate or authorize the operation of another Pigtails & Crewcuts Salon within this protected territory throughout the duration of the agreement.
