Training

Pestmaster provides comprehensive training to ensure franchisees are prepared to operate effectively within the system. The training programs offered by the franchisor include the following:

  1. Initial Training Program: This is mandatory and must be completed within 90 days of signing the agreement and before opening the franchised business. It includes a self-paced remote module and an on-site training at Pestmaster’s headquarters in Reno, NV, or another designated location. Up to two attendees are covered at no cost, but franchisees are responsible for their own travel and lodging expenses.
  2. Additional Training Attendees: Franchisees can send more than two people to the Initial Training Program if space allows, but each extra attendee incurs a $500 training fee. Failure to complete the training to the franchisor’s satisfaction is considered a default under the franchise agreement.
  3. Ongoing and Required Training: Pestmaster reserves the right to require franchisees, owners, or managers to attend further training throughout the term of the agreement. These sessions are scheduled at the franchisor’s discretion, and all travel-related and attendance costs are borne by the franchisee.

Territory Protection

Pestmaster provides its franchisees with a designated territory that includes approximately 250,000 people, outlined using specific zip codes and geographic boundaries.

Franchisees are expected to concentrate their marketing efforts and service delivery within this assigned territory. They are not permitted to market or perform services outside this area without the franchisor’s prior written approval.

However, the territory granted is not exclusive. Pestmaster retains the right to operate or authorize others to operate businesses using the Pestmaster system, or a similar one, both within and outside the franchisee’s territory under different brand names.
