Training

Mosquito Joe provides a comprehensive training program for its franchisees. This includes an initial training program conducted over five days, typically held at the company's headquarters or virtually, which must be completed before opening the business.

The training covers a range of topics such as the operations manual, sales manual, and customer service standards. The training program is designed to ensure franchisees and their designated managers are well-prepared to operate the business.

Additionally, Mosquito Joe requires ongoing training sessions, refresher courses, and regional meetings to maintain operational and customer service standards. These training programs may incur costs for materials, travel, and living expenses.

Franchisees are responsible for ensuring their employees are adequately trained to meet the company’s operational guidelines.

Territory Protection

Mosquito Joe provides franchisees with a defined territory for their business operations, ensuring a level of territory protection. During the term of the franchise agreement, as long as the franchisee complies with the agreement's terms, the franchisor will not modify the designated territory or establish another Mosquito Joe business within it.

Franchisees are, however, restricted from marketing or providing services outside their designated territory without prior written approval.

While Mosquito Joe protects the franchisee's exclusive rights within their territory, the franchisor reserves certain rights. These include the ability to market through different channels or to sell similar services under different branding outside the franchisee's territory.
