Initial Training Program: This includes classroom and on-the-job training at Monical’s headquarters in Bradley, Illinois, or another designated location. The program covers essential topics like management skills, administrative procedures, store opening protocols, and accounting, with 40 hours each of classroom and practical training.
Personnel and Staff Training: Franchisees are trained on personnel policies and procedures, and specific job roles such as dough makers, pizza makers, preparation personnel, servers, hosts, cashiers, and delivery staff. Each position has assigned training hours to ensure operational efficiency across the board.
Operational Modules: Additional training covers critical areas such as food preparation and sanitation (60 hours), security procedures (6 hours), vendor relations and ordering (10 hours), and delivery procedures (8 hours). Territory Protection
Monical’s Pizza does not offer exclusive territory rights to its franchisees. Each franchisee is granted an “area of primary responsibility,” which is determined based on various demographic and geographic factors, but this does not prevent the franchisor from placing other franchise units or company-owned locations within the same area.
Moreover, Monical’s reserves the right to market and sell through alternative distribution channels, such as internet or catalog sales, even within a franchisee's designated territory.
