Loyalty Business Brokers is a business-brokerage franchise that helps connect buyers and sellers of small and medium-sized businesses. As a brokerage network, it provides services including business valuation, marketing, negotiation and due diligence.

Its focus is on facilitating smooth ownership transitions — whether a business is being sold or a buyer is seeking an acquisition — and on making the process transparent, efficient, and professional.

The company was founded in 2021 and is headquartered in Virginia Beach, Virginia, at 780 Lynnhaven Parkway, Suite 240. Franchising began in 2022, under the umbrella of parent company Loyalty Brands.
What differentiates Loyalty Business Brokers from many traditional franchises is its service-based model rather than a product-based one.

Training

Loyalty Business Brokers® offers a structured and multi-phase training system designed to prepare franchisees for successful business brokerage operations. The training programs cover both initial setup and ongoing professional development. Below are the key programs offered by the Franchisor:

  1. Initial Training Program
This training is mandatory and must be completed within 60 days of signing the Franchise Agreement. It is delivered virtually through webinars and interactive video conferences, covering fundamental skills needed to operate the franchised business. While the program itself is free, franchisees must cover their own travel, lodging, and meal expenses if in-person sessions are conducted.
  2. Advanced Training Program
Within 36 months of signing the agreement, franchisees may be required to complete a Mergers and Acquisitions certification course. This training is conducted through a third-party vendor, and the franchisee is responsible for the cost and associated travel expenses. The program enhances professional expertise in handling complex business transactions.
  3. Additional Training and Seminars
Loyalty Business Brokers® may periodically offer or require attendance at supplemental training sessions or seminars. These may be delivered live or electronically and aim to maintain franchisee competence and compliance. Franchisees bear the cost of attending these programs, including any travel or living expenses.

Territory Protection

Loyalty Business Brokers® grants franchisees a defined geographic territory, usually covering at least 150,000 residents and described by zip codes or other clear boundaries.

Within this territory, the Franchisor normally directs inquiries for business brokerage services to the franchisee's location, and franchisees are expected to refrain from cold-calling or direct marketing within another franchisee’s territory. However, internet and social media marketing is allowed across territories, provided it adheres to brand guidelines.

Despite assigning territories, the Franchisor explicitly states that these areas are not exclusive. Franchisees may face competition from other franchisees, corporate-owned outlets, and alternative distribution channels such as internet or telemarketing.
