Training

Liftology provides a comprehensive multi-part training program to ensure that franchisees and their teams are fully prepared to operate according to brand standards:

1. Initial Training Program: Franchisees and one additional person (typically an owner or manager) must complete a training program conducted at Liftology's headquarters or another designated site. This training includes operations, marketing, financial reporting, brand requirements, and service offerings. Completion is mandatory at least 30 days before opening.
2. Technical Training Program: The designated installer (technician, carpenter, or contractor) must attend a separate technical training session, held alongside the initial training, focused on equipment installation. This ensures proper execution of Liftology's home modification services.
3. Vendor Training Program: Franchisees and installers are required to participate in vendor-specific training, including travel to manufacturer training centers. These sessions cover product-specific knowledge and compliance with manufacturer standards.

Territory Protection

Liftology offers franchisees a Licensed Service Area (LSA), but this territory is not exclusive. Franchisees may face competition from other Liftology franchises, company-owned outlets, or even different distribution channels and competitive brands controlled by the franchisor.

The LSA is typically defined by contiguous ZIP codes, and franchisees must operate from a physical location approved by the franchisor within that area. Although the franchisor agrees not to open another Liftology business using the same marks in the franchisee’s LSA, it reserves the right to operate or allow others to operate similar or competing businesses under different trademarks.

Additionally, Liftology may use other distribution methods, including online platforms and affiliate partnerships, within the same area without compensating the franchisee. Territory protection may be reduced or revoked if the franchisee fails to meet minimum annual performance requirements.
