Training

1. Initial Franchise Training Program: This is mandatory and must be completed before opening the franchised business. It includes training for the franchisee and the general manager, with one additional participant allowed at no extra cost. This program covers:
   • Orientation and Introduction (4 hours)
   • Juice Preparation (16 hours)
   • Smoothie Preparation (28 hours)
     The training takes place at Kale Me Crazy’s headquarters in Atlanta, GA. Franchisees are responsible for travel, lodging, meals, and wages during training.
2. Opening Assistance Program: As part of the initial support, Kale Me Crazy provides on-site opening assistance at the new Superfood Cafe. A trained company representative helps with the setup and operations during the opening phase.
3. Ongoing Training and Development: While not offered on a fixed schedule, the franchisor may hold optional or mandatory refresher training programs and seminars. Territory Protection

Kale Me Crazy does offer a form of territory protection to its franchisees, beginning with a Designated Area that is protected for 90 days to allow the franchisee to secure a site for their Superfood Cafe. This Designated Area will also serve as a buffer zone where no other Kale Me Crazy store will be placed.

The size and shape of the territory may vary depending on local demographics and is defined by criteria like zip codes, county boundaries, or a specific radius from the store.

Upon the execution of the Franchise Agreement, the franchisee is also assigned an exclusive territory, with continued protection contingent upon the franchisee’s compliance with the agreement.
