Go Paintingis the first and only 100% commercial B2B painting franchise in the U.S. The company was founded in 2007 and is headquartered in Lehi, Utah. It began franchising in September 2023, offering a unique opportunity for entrepreneurs to enter the commercial painting industry with a tested and streamlined model.
The franchise specializes in capital improvement painting projects for clients such as property managers, facility directors, ownership groups, and homeowners’ associations.
Go Painting focuses exclusively on commercial painting services—interior and exterior painting, renovations, and protective coatings across multifamily residential, retail, industrial, and office properties.
What sets Go Painting apart is its B2B-only approach. Unlike traditional painting franchises that cater to homeowners, Go Painting targets high-value commercial jobs that are typically three to five times larger.

Go Painting provides a comprehensive set of training programs designed to equip franchisees and their managers with the necessary skills and knowledge to successfully operate a franchise. The training consists of several key components:
Initial Mandatory Training A one-week training course is provided, currently held both virtually and in Salt Lake City, Utah. It covers various operational areas including software usage, sales techniques, marketing plans, administration, and quality standards. This training must be completed no later than two weeks before opening and within three months of signing the franchise agreement.
Training Program Agenda The agenda includes sessions on business setup, licensing, accounting, Go Tech, virtual onboarding, customer service, safety, marketing, and paint industry knowledge. Total training time can range between 25–60 hours depending on the topic depth and delivery mode (e.g., classroom, in-territory, virtual).
Supplemental Training Franchisees may opt for additional training at designated centers or agreed locations by providing at least 35 days' notice. These include franchise visits, hands-on work experience, and operational observation. All associated costs are borne by the franchisee.
Territory Protection
Go Painting provides its franchisees with an exclusive Franchise Marketing Territory for promoting and marketing their business. This designated area is determined using geographic or political boundaries and is detailed in the Franchise Agreement.
While franchisees have exclusivity in this marketing territory, they are also given a non-exclusive Work Territory, meaning other franchisees may operate within that space, and competition from them is possible.
The Franchise Work Territory does not offer protected status, and the franchisor reserves the right to license or operate additional franchises within the same area under certain conditions.
