Training

Color World Painting provides a detailed and structured training program to equip franchisees with the necessary knowledge and skills for operating the business successfully. The training is mandatory and tailored based on the individual's prior experience.

  1. Initial Training Program
This consists of a 6-week online pre-training course followed by a 5-day in-person training session typically held in Powell, Ohio. The program includes orientation, familiarization with brand operations, and proficiency tests on service delivery, technology use, and business management.
  2. Additional and Ongoing Training
After launch, the franchisor offers both required and optional training programs as deemed necessary. These sessions may be delivered in person, via video, or online and can be conducted by Color World Painting, its affiliates, or designated third parties.
  3. Remedial and Substitute Training
If trainees fail to meet brand standards or require retraining, the franchisor may impose additional training sessions. Fees may apply for exceeding trainee limits, remedial instruction, or repeating programs.

Territory Protection

Color World Painting grants franchisees a protected territory as long as they remain in compliance with the Franchise Agreement. Within this territory—typically comprising around 75,000 single-family dwelling units—the franchisor agrees not to open or authorize other Color World Painting businesses using the same brand and system.

This protection, however, does not prevent the franchisor from advertising or recruiting within the territory. Despite the protected status, the franchisee does not receive exclusive rights.

The franchisor retains the ability to use alternative distribution channels, such as online platforms or different brand names, and may authorize similar or dissimilar businesses both inside and outside the territory.
