Initial Training Program: Franchisees and their course instructors are required to attend the initial training program at Global Art's headquarters. The standard training covers operational procedures, curriculum delivery, teaching techniques, safety procedures, and sales strategies. The initial training fee covers one trainee, and additional participants are charged up to $300 per day per person.
Supplemental and Replacement Training: If new managers or instructors are hired, or if the original personnel are deemed unqualified, substitute individuals must undergo the training program. Global Art offers its franchisees territory protection through a defined and limited “protected territory” surrounding their approved Center location. This territory typically extends up to two miles within the city limits, though the actual size can be larger or smaller depending on population density and market factors.
The protected area is determined based on factors such as demographics, business potential, traffic, parking availability, and competition. While the franchisor agrees not to establish or license another Global Art center within a franchisee’s protected territory during the agreement term, this protection is not exclusive in all respects.
