GameTruck is the original mobile video game theater franchise, founded in 2006 by Scott Novis in Tempe, Arizona. Headquartered at 315 W. Elliot Rd., Tempe, AZ 85284, the company began franchising in 2008.
Since then, GameTruck has expanded to more than 50 franchise locations and operates over 100 gaming trailers across more than 30 U.S. states.
GameTruck offers immersive mobile entertainment for birthday parties, corporate events, school functions, and summer camps. Its trailers are equipped with multiple flat-screen TVs, modern gaming consoles, and options like laser tag, ZTAG, and GelTag—all hosted by trained GameCoaches to ensure a fun and smooth experience.
GameTruck stands out with its combination of nostalgic arcade fun and cutting-edge mobile entertainment.
Here's what you would need to invest if you were to start this franchise. These costs are provided by the franchisor in the Franchise Disclosure Document.
GameTruck provides a structured and multi-phase training program to ensure franchisees are fully prepared to operate their business successfully.
GameTruck provides its franchisees with exclusive territorial rights under specific conditions. Each franchisee is assigned a designated territory encompassing no fewer than 150,000 single-family households, and this area is detailed in Exhibit 1 of the Franchise Agreement.
GameTruck commits not to authorize or operate another franchise within this territory, nor allow events to be scheduled there by others, as long as the franchisee is compliant and able to fulfill service requests.
In addition to the primary territory, GameTruck may award a second territory of similar size at no extra cost, provided it is requested at signing and borders the initial area. To retain this second territory, the franchisee must activate a second GameTruck trailer within 18 months.
