FURRY LAND

FURRY LAND Franchise FDD, Costs & Fees (2025)

FURRY LAND is a mobile pet grooming franchise offering professional grooming services for pets in the convenience of their own homes, focusing on quality care and customer satisfaction.

FURRY LAND Mobile Pet Grooming was founded in 2021 in Las Vegas. The company was acquired by Phoenix Franchise Brands and later re-incorporated in Delaware in 2021. FURRY LAND is now headquartered in Livonia, Michigan, and began franchising in February 2022. The brand was created to bring high-quality, stress-free grooming services directly to pet owners’ homes.

FURRY LAND offers mobile grooming services for both dogs and cats. Their grooming vans are fully equipped and provide services like bathing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, de-shedding, and hand blow-drying. All grooming is done cage-free, providing a more comfortable experience for pets and greater convenience for owners.

What sets FURRY LAND apart is its focus on convenience and pet comfort. Unlike traditional grooming salons, their mobile service removes the stress of travel and waiting rooms. Each grooming session is done one-on-one, ensuring attention to the pet’s needs while maximizing customer satisfaction.

Training

FURRY LAND provides a comprehensive training structure to prepare franchisees and their staff for the effective operation of the business.

  1. Initial Training: Franchisees must complete a 10-day initial training program—five days at a location of the franchisor’s choice and five days in Las Vegas, Nevada. This training is mandatory for the Managing Owner or General Manager and one additional owner or employee. Completion is a requirement before the business can open.
  2. Instructional Materials: Training materials include the Operating Manual, online modules, videos, checklists, demonstrations, and quizzes. Participants must successfully pass this initial phase to continue operating under the franchise agreement.
  3. Ongoing and On-Site Training: FURRY LAND may offer ongoing training or on-site training in the franchisee’s territory. These may be mandatory and are provided by the franchisor, affiliates, or designated vendors. All associated costs such as travel and lodging are borne by the franchisee.
  4. Supplemental Training: Additional employees who require training after business commencement may be trained for an added fee. The franchisee might also be asked to help train other franchisees, for which they will be reimbursed for reasonable costs.

Territory Protection

FURRY LAND offers its franchisees a defined territory, but this protection is not exclusive. The franchise agreement outlines a nonexclusive geographic area where the franchisee is authorized to operate.

While FURRY LAND agrees not to open or license another FURRY LAND business within that territory as long as the franchisee complies with the development schedule, they retain the right to offer and sell products and services through alternative channels like e-commerce and retail partnerships.

Additionally, franchisees are prohibited from offering services outside their territory without written approval, and failure to meet customer service standards can result in the territory losing its protected status. If a customer request arises from within a franchisee’s area, the franchisor will refer the opportunity to the appropriate franchisee.
