Training

Destination Athlete provides several structured training and support programs for its franchisees. Here’s an explanation of the training provided by the franchisor:

  1. Initial Training Program
The franchisor offers active training in its system for up to four franchisee members or employees before the business opens. This ensures the team understands the operations, systems, and brand standards.
  2. System Software Assistance
Destination Athlete assists with installing its proprietary software remotely. While the franchisee must handle hardware setup, the franchisor ensures the software runs correctly.
  3. Marketing and Sales Training
The franchisee receives a marketing kit and attends periodic online seminars covering sales techniques, advertising programs, merchandising, and product knowledge. Additionally, the franchisor provides templates for business materials like invoices and proposals.
  4. Annual Conference (Chairman’s Summit)
Franchisees are invited to an annual in-person or virtual conference, where sales strategies, advertising, merchandising, and supplier presentations are covered. Attendance depends on compliance with the franchise agreement, and travel costs are the franchisee’s responsibility.

Territory Protection

Destination Athlete provides its franchisees with exclusive territorial rights defined by the borders of an approved county or counties. As long as the franchisee complies with the agreement and maintains sales, the franchisor will not grant another franchise within that territory.

Even if population increases beyond certain thresholds, the franchisor will not modify the territory by adding another franchise. Franchisees are prohibited from selling outside their designated territories unless they obtain written permission from Destination Athlete.

The franchisor also contractually prohibits other franchisees from selling within an exclusive territory where a franchisee has maintained continuous sales over the prior year.
