Deer Solution provides a comprehensive training program designed to prepare franchisees for successful operations. The structure includes initial, supplemental, and refresher training options. Here are the main programs:
Initial Training Program This is mandatory for the Managing Owner and one designated manager. It spans approximately one week and includes both classroom and on-the-job instruction, held in New Jersey or virtually. Franchisees must complete it no later than 30 days before opening.
Additional Attendee Training If more than two individuals attend the initial training, a fee of $500 per extra person is charged. All travel and related expenses are borne by the franchisee.
Supplemental Training Provided at the discretion of the franchisor when performance falls short of standards or a new Operating Manager is hired. It costs $500 per trainer per day, plus applicable travel and lodging expenses.
Refresher and System-Wide Training Franchisees must attend any additional courses or seminars the franchisor deems necessary. These can occur in-person or online, with the franchisee covering all related costs.
Territory Protection
Deer Solution provides each franchisee with a designated Operating Territory, which typically includes about 40,000 single-family dwellings with a household income of at least $125,000. This territory is negotiated and set in the Franchise Agreement, and franchisees are only permitted to operate within this defined area.
While franchisees may apply for additional territories, each is distinct, and relocation or adjustment of a territory is granted solely at the franchisor’s discretion.
Within their assigned territory, franchisees must limit their marketing and operations to that area. Direct solicitation outside their Operating Territory or into another franchisee’s territory is strictly prohibited.
