Auto Select Franchise FDD, Costs & Fees (2025)

Auto Select provides comprehensive automotive repair and maintenance services, offering reliable and professional solutions to keep vehicles running smoothly.

Auto Select is a U.S.-based automotive repair-service franchise that specializes in vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and tire sales. The brand was established in 2000 and operates multiple locations across Wisconsin, including cities such as Appleton, Green Bay, Neenah, and Wausau.

Headquartered in Appleton, Wisconsin, Auto Select locations are independently owned and operated, maintaining consistent branding and service standards.

The franchise offers a wide range of services including oil changes, brake repair, air conditioning service, tire replacement, wheel alignment, and transmission repair.

One of Auto Select's key differentiators is its 36-month / 36,000-mile limited warranty on parts and labor. This warranty adds significant value and builds customer trust, positioning the brand as a professional and dependable alternative to smaller, independent shops.

  1. Initial Training: Mandatory for the franchisee and their manager, this program provides foundational instruction essential for launching the Service Center.
  2. In-Store Training: Conducted over 2 to 4 months, this practical training is delivered through various methods including manuals, bulletins, phone consultations, and on-site visits.
  3. New Employee Training: Sales-related employees are required to complete a training program within 60 days of hire, focusing on product knowledge and sales techniques.
  4. Business and Management Consulting: Franchisees receive quarterly consultations to support operational and strategic management.

Territory Protection

Auto Select grants franchisees the right to operate at a specifically approved location, referred to as the “Premises.” Franchisees are not permitted to relocate or conduct business at any other site without obtaining prior written consent from the franchisor.

However, the franchisor makes it clear that this territorial right does not extend to any other Auto Select Service Center that is already open, under development, or approved at the time the franchisee’s Premises is designated. This arrangement does not constitute exclusive territory protection.

The franchisor reserves the right to approve and establish other Auto Select Service Centers, potentially near the franchisee’s location, unless already restricted by a specific agreement.
