Glass Doctor offers a comprehensive training program to its franchisees.
Initial Training: Glass Doctor offers an Initial Training Program for new franchisees or their principal owners. This program includes a mix of classroom instruction and hands-on experience. The classroom portion usually spans 38 hours, while the hands-on training can range from 8 to 40 hours. The length and content of the training may be adjusted based on the participant's prior knowledge and skills.
Training Content: The Initial Training Program is thorough, covering a wide array of topics to prepare franchisees for running their centers effectively. Key areas of focus include General Center Operations, Vendor Training, Sales Techniques, Lubricants and Fluids, Certification Programs, Fleet Accounts Sales and Processing, as well as Key Performance Indicators and Management Skills.
Glass Doctor franchisees do not receive an exclusive territory. The franchise agreement outlines that the rights granted are confined to a designated territory, generally determined by population.
The designated territory usually encompasses a population of up to 300,000 people, with a maximum limit of 400,000. Exceptions may be made for certain circumstances, such as densely populated urban areas or regions with a high percentage of low-income residents.
Franchisees retain their rights to the territory even if the population within it grows. However, Glass Doctor reserves the right to advertise, solicit, and engage with key accounts, which include national, regional, or other accounts that benefit the overall system.
