Sugar Sugar Franchise FDD, Costs & Fees (2025)

Sugar Sugar is a beauty franchise that focuses on organic sugaring hair removal and skincare, offering eco-friendly and natural beauty solutions.

Sugar Sugar™ is a pioneering organic beauty franchise that specializes in sugaring hair removal, organic airbrush tanning, and vegan facials. Founded in 2012 by Aimee Blake in Scottsdale, Arizona, the brand emerged from a personal mission to create safer, more natural beauty treatments.

Sugar Sugar™ began franchising in 2018 and continues to be headquartered in Scottsdale.

The franchise differentiates itself through its exclusive use of sugaring—a natural, less painful alternative to waxing. Its signature "Comfort Sugaring™" technique is designed to be gentler on the skin while delivering better results.

Sugar Sugar™ also offers its own Skin From Scratch™ product line, available only in its studios, further enhancing the client experience and giving franchisees a unique product advantage.

Training

Sugar Sugar provides a comprehensive training program for its franchisees to ensure successful spa operation. This includes initial instruction and ongoing support, both in-person and through company resources.

  1. Initial Training Program
Sugar Sugar offers an initial training program at no additional cost, which covers essential aspects of spa operation. This includes administrative procedures, marketing practices, customer service, and use of the POS system.
  2. On-Site Opening Support
As part of the launch process, the franchisor sends representatives to the new location to offer up to five days of on-site assistance. This support is aimed at ensuring smooth operations and brand consistency during the critical opening phase.
  3. Ongoing Training Programs
After the spa opens, franchisees can participate in periodic training sessions. These sessions provide updates on operations, new service techniques, and brand standards to help maintain a high level of service across all locations.

Territory Protection

Sugar Sugar offers limited territory protection to its franchisees. Upon signing the Franchise Agreement, the franchisee is required to locate and gain approval for a site within a designated Site Selection Area.

While this process ensures that franchisees operate within a defined geographical scope, it does not necessarily preclude Sugar Sugar from approving other franchises nearby.

The franchisor does not promise exclusivity or guarantee that other Sugar Sugar locations will not be established within proximity to an existing franchisee. The decision to approve sites is based on various criteria, such as demographics, visibility, and nearby competitive businesses.
