Prime Senior Placement offers a well-rounded training program designed to equip franchisees and key managers with the operational knowledge required to run their franchise successfully. The training includes pre-opening instruction, marketing education, and ongoing support. Below are the key components of the training program:
Initial Training Program Before opening, Prime Senior Placement provides a 24-hour classroom-based Initial Training Program to the majority owner, operating partner, and designated managers. This training must be successfully completed at a designated location such as Birmingham, Alabama. The franchisor covers training costs, but franchisees are responsible for all travel and living expenses.
Marketing Training A separate three-day (24-hour) marketing training program is delivered at the franchisee’s location, usually at or right before opening. It focuses on promoting the franchise and implementing the franchisor’s marketing systems effectively. This ensures the franchisee is prepared to attract and retain clients from day one.
Additional and Refresher Training Franchisees may be required to attend additional or refresher training sessions at the franchisor’s discretion. These may occur at various locations and cost $350 per day plus travel and lodging expenses. Franchisees are also expected to train replacement or new management personnel at approved sites.
Territory Protection
Prime Senior Placement grants franchisees a Designated Territory, defined in the Franchise Agreement, which typically includes either 30 licensed senior living communities or a population of 400,000 people. Within this area, franchisees are not permitted to advertise, recruit, or solicit clients outside of their designated territory without prior written consent from the franchisor.
If permission is withdrawn or another franchisee is awarded the area, the original franchisee must cease operations there and transfer all related customer information to the franchisor.
Although Prime Senior Placement provides a specific territory, it does not guarantee exclusivity. The franchisor reserves the right to grant franchises or operate businesses both inside and outside of the Designated Territory, provided they are not Competitive Businesses.
