Initial and New Buyer Training
Franchisees must complete approximately 10 hours of online “New Franchisee” training, followed by nine days of in-person hands-on training at a designated location such as Ann Arbor, MI. This program includes instruction on product application, operating equipment, computing estimates, and customer management. A further 20 hours of review and coursework follow the hands-on sessions.
Ongoing Training Requirements
Franchisees are obligated to attend at least two annual conventions during the agreement term and complete one in-person training and any required online courses each year. NHI may assess fines or even terminate the agreement for non-compliance. Training may include updates, certification renewals, or other skill-based courses.

Territory Protection

N-Hance Wood Refinishing grants franchisees a Protected Franchised Area, within which they are required to operate exclusively.
