Clozetivity Franchise FDD, Costs & Fees (2025)

Clozetivity is a closet organization franchise that transforms cluttered spaces into organized, functional, and aesthetically pleasing areas.

Clozetivity is a home-based custom closet franchise founded in 2021 and headquartered in Toms River, New Jersey. The brand entered franchising the same year, rapidly expanding with over 20 franchise units across numerous U.S. states. Clozetivity specializes in custom storage solutions, ranging from closets and pantries to garages, laundry rooms, mudrooms, offices, and libraries.

Clozetivity stands out by offering affordable, high-margin custom solutions made possible through exclusive AI-driven design software, streamlined manufacturing, and efficient logistics—all delivered from a low-overhead, home-based model.

The brand differentiates itself with a fast, stress-free design process—often completing in-home custom designs in under an hour—and North American manufacturing with 4–6 week delivery times. This tech-forward, customer-centric approach yields high satisfaction and robust referral business in a $3.4 billion and growing industry.

Training

Clozetivity provides a comprehensive training program to ensure franchisees are equipped with the knowledge and skills to successfully operate their businesses. The training includes several phases and is a prerequisite before launching operations.

  1. Initial Training Program
The Managing Owner and one manager must attend and complete Clozetivity’s initial training program within 28 days before opening. This training is conducted over a three-day period at the company’s training facility in Lakewood, New Jersey, or via web-based conferencing, and includes classroom and on-the-job instruction.
  2. Additional Training Participants
Franchisees may request to send additional attendees to the initial training at an extra cost of $500 per person, subject to franchisor approval. All training fees must be prepaid before participation.
  3. Supplemental Training
Clozetivity may require additional training if a new Operating Manager is hired or if the franchisee fails to meet performance standards. Supplemental training may be delivered onsite or remotely, and fees include $250 per trainer per day plus travel and accommodation expenses.

Territory Protection

Clozetivity grants franchisees a defined “Operating Territory” upon signing the Franchise Agreement, which may be either a Single or Double Territory depending on local factors and negotiations.

During the term of the agreement, and assuming the franchisee is not in default, Clozetivity commits not to open another franchise or company-owned outlet within the franchisee's territory. However, this protection is not considered an “exclusive territory,” and franchisees may still face competition through other channels or adjacent territories.

The franchisor retains broad “Reserved Rights” to operate, franchise, or license others to operate Clozetivity or other competitive businesses outside the franchisee’s designated territory.
