MindChamps International Preschool Franchise FDD, Costs & Fees (2025)

MindChamps International Preschool is an early-childhood education franchise offering preschool and enrichment programs, serving children from toddler age through kindergarten, and known for research-based curricula, a proprietary learning framework, and premium school environments popular with parents across Asia-Pacific.

MindChamps International Preschool is a global early-childhood education franchise founded in 1998 in Sydney, Australia. The company later established its global headquarters in Singapore in 2002. It has since grown into a major international preschool network with a strong footprint across Asia and Australia.

The brand opened its first preschool in Singapore in 2008, which is also when it began franchising. Today, MindChamps operates multiple centres worldwide, serving families in countries such as Australia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Myanmar. Its rapid expansion reflects strong demand for its distinctive education model.

MindChamps offers infant care, nursery, preschool and kindergarten programmes, along with enrichment and after-school services. Its curriculum is built around a proprietary “3-Mind” model that blends the Learning Mind, Creative Mind and Champion Mind.

Training

MindChamps International Preschool provides a comprehensive training structure for franchisees, tailored to prepare them for successful school operations:

  1. Initial Training Program: Franchisees must complete an Initial Training Program, which includes online modules and educator-focused sessions. This program covers curriculum, pedagogy, leadership, and operational procedures, overseen by senior training personnel with 15–20 years of relevant experience.
  2. Additional Training Events: Throughout the term of the Franchise Agreement, franchisees must attend quarterly Community of Practice sessions and biannual Global Teachers Development and Training Days. These are designed to keep participants updated on best practices and system improvements.
  3. Onboarding and Role-Specific Training: Specific roles like Owner and Key Person are required to complete onboarding within 12 months of signing the agreement. Replacement personnel must also undergo training to the franchisor’s satisfaction.
  4. Ongoing Education and Conferences: Franchisees are required to participate in the Annual Business Leaders Conference and other designated events. Registration fees and associated expenses are the responsibility of the franchisee.

Territory Protection

MindChamps International Preschool grants each franchisee a “Designated Area,” which refers to a non-exclusive marketing area associated with the approved location. While this area outlines where a franchisee operates, it does not grant exclusive territorial rights.

Other franchisees or the franchisor itself may market, advertise, or even open additional locations within the same Designated Area. The franchisor and its affiliates retain broad rights to operate or license competing schools, market programs, or sell services under different trademarks—even within an existing franchisee's area.

This includes channels such as online platforms, retail stores, or telemarketing. As a result, franchisees should not expect complete territorial protection from overlap or competition.
