Training

Massage Heights offers a comprehensive range of training programs to support its franchisees. Here's an overview of the training provided:

Initial Training Program

The Initial Training Program is designed for up to four individuals, including the franchisee (or Managing Owner if the franchisee is an entity), the franchisee’s initial Designated Retreat Director, and the franchisee’s initial Lead Massage Therapist.

This program typically takes place at the franchisor's headquarters in San Antonio, Texas, but it can also be conducted at the franchisee’s location, other designated locations, or via an online platform. The training covers System guidelines, operational procedures, advertising and sales techniques, promotional ideas, marketing plans, customer relations, quality standards, and practical experience in managing a Massage Heights business.

Additional Training and Support

  • Transfer Training Program: This program is available if the Massage Heights business was already operational on the Effective Date. It includes both online and in-person training courses.
  • Ongoing Training Sessions: Franchisees are required to attend regular training sessions, which cover various operational aspects and system updates to ensure consistent quality and performance across all locations.

Territory Protection

Massage Heights offers territory protection to its franchisees, although it is not exclusive. Franchisees are assigned a specific geographic area, typically within a 1.5-mile radius around their Retreat.

Despite this protection, franchisees may still encounter competition from other franchisees, franchisor-owned outlets, or other brands managed by the franchisor. The franchisor retains the right to operate and license businesses outside the franchisee's designated territory.
