Automotive coating franchise providing protective coatings for truck beds, vehicles, and industrial applications, offering durable and customizable solutions.

Founded in 1993, Line-X specializes in applying polyurethane and polyurea-based spray-on coatings. These coatings are mainly used to protect truck beds and other light industrial products. In addition to coatings, Line-X provides various truck and vehicle accessories, including their exclusive LINE-X GEAR line.

Training

Comprehensive Initial Training: LINE-X offers a thorough training program for its franchisees, ensuring they understand every detail of the business. This essential training covers product knowledge, operational procedures, and customer service to prepare franchisees for success.

Location and Duration: Training takes place at the LINE-X Franchise Support Center or another designated location. The duration and schedule are tailored to meet the needs of the franchisee and the availability of training sessions.

Manager's Training Program: Franchisees who appoint a manager for their LINE-X store must ensure the manager completes the specialized training program. This program equips the manager with the necessary skills to effectively run the store and uphold LINE-X's high standards.

Financial Aspects and Other Details:

Franchisees are responsible for covering all expenses related to the training, including travel, accommodation, meals, and incidental costs. These expenses will vary based on the training location and duration.

Territory Protection

Franchisees of LINE-X are granted a designated territory, outlined by a map and/or a list of zip codes. This territory is determined based on several factors, including the number of households, potential customer base, drive times, and both natural and man-made boundaries.

While franchisees operate within their specific territory, there are important conditions to be aware of. The franchisor commits not to establish another LINE-X Store within the franchisee's designated territory.

However, if a franchisee fails to meet the Minimum Purchase Standard for products, the franchisor reserves the right to adjust the size of the territory, terminate its exclusivity, or even award other franchises within that territory.
