Training 

LaVida Massage offers a thorough training program to ensure franchisees are well-prepared for success. Here are the key components of the training provided:

Pre-Opening and On-Site Training: The training program combines classroom instruction with on-the-job training sessions. Classroom training covers essential topics for operating the franchise, including the LaVida concept, staff management, and pre-opening preparations.

Location and Duration: Training typically takes place at the franchisor’s headquarters in Brighton, Michigan. The duration and specific details of the training sessions are designed to adequately prepare franchisees for managing their franchise.

Additional Training for Managers: If a franchisee appoints a Designated Manager to operate the Center, the manager must complete the franchisor’s training program. Should the Designated Manager be replaced, the new manager must also complete the training within a specified timeframe.

Supplemental Training: The franchisor may require franchisees or their managers to attend supplemental training classes, which can last up to five days. These classes cover various aspects of franchise management and operations.

Territory Protection

LaVida Massage offers territory protection to its franchisees. Franchisees receive an exclusive territory, determined by factors such as population and competition. Franchisees are restricted to operating within this territory unless they obtain written consent from the franchisor.

The franchisor commits not to operate or grant franchises for similar businesses within the franchisee's designated area. Relocating a Center within the territory requires franchisor approval, which is based on territory availability and other conditions.
