Training

Club SciKidz offers a structured and comprehensive training program to prepare franchisees and their staff for effective operations. The training includes mandatory and optional components with detailed instruction on operational, educational, and business standards.

  1. Initial Training Program
The franchisor provides approximately 30 hours of initial training to the franchisee or designated Operating Principal. This training may take place virtually, at headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, or another designated location, and covers the franchisor’s methods and policies. Additional equity owners or employees may attend at no extra cost, subject to space availability.
  2. Advanced Training Programs
The franchisor periodically conducts advanced training for franchisees, operating principals, and staff. If attendance is mandatory, no fee is charged, though the franchisee bears travel and lodging expenses. These programs are designed to reinforce and build upon the initial training.
  3. Ongoing and Required Post-Launch Training
The franchisee and designated staff must also complete any other training programs required by the franchisor after operations begin. This includes replacement personnel and transferees, who must undergo training per franchisor standards and possibly under new terms and conditions.

Club SciKidz offers franchisees territorial protection through a "Designated Territory" outlined in the franchise agreement. This area is comprised of whole, contiguous counties and/or zip codes with a population between 450,000 and 1,000,000 people.

The franchisor agrees not to operate or license another Club SciKidz business within this designated territory, provided the franchisee maintains compliance with operational requirements and development schedules.

This territorial exclusivity is subject to the franchisee maintaining a minimum number of operating locations within the Protected Area.
