Training

The Picklr franchise provides a structured set of training programs and support activities to ensure Franchisees and their designated personnel are fully prepared to operate their locations. The Franchisor delivers the following training programs:

  1. Initial Training Program: Conducted over seven business days, typically at the Kaysville, Utah location, this mandatory program covers franchise systems, training and operational methods, advertising, marketing, customer service, safety, and POS operations. It is required to be completed at least 15 days before opening the franchise. Up to two people can attend without additional tuition fees, though all travel-related costs are borne by the Franchisee.
  2. Ongoing and Supplemental Training: The Franchisor may provide periodic workshops, seminars, and other training events. Some of these may be mandatory and carry additional fees. These sessions serve to update Franchisees on system changes, new products, or best practices.
  3. Annual Conference: Franchisees or their designated business managers must attend annual conferences organized by the Franchisor, which are used to provide advanced training and facilitate network-wide updates.

Territory Protection

The Picklr franchise offers franchisees a protected territory defined typically by zip codes, demographic factors, and population density. This protected area allows franchisees to operate their facility and sell authorized products and services within a designated geographic zone.

However, this protection does not equate to exclusivity, as franchisees may still face competition from other franchisees, corporate-owned outlets, or alternative distribution channels managed by the Franchisor.

Additionally, for Multi-Unit Developers, The Picklr grants a Development Territory that is exclusive for the term of the Development Agreement. Within this territory, the Franchisor agrees not to open or license other franchises, though it retains the right to distribute products through other means, including online or through alternate branding.
