Serotonin Centers is a forward-thinking health and wellness franchise focused on anti-aging, hormone optimization, weight management, immunity support, and aesthetic services. It was founded in 2021 by Eric Casaburi, the entrepreneur behind Retro Fitness.
The first location opened in Windermere, Florida, where the company is still headquartered. Serotonin began franchising the same year, branding itself as the nation's first human longevity franchise.
The franchise provides a comprehensive range of medically supervised services aimed at enhancing vitality and healthspan. Offerings include hormone replacement therapy, medical weight loss, IV therapy, red light therapy, and aesthetic treatments such as Botox and Hydrafacial.
Serotonin Centers also sell their own line of nutraceuticals, skincare products, and wellness apparel, offering multiple income streams for franchisees. What differentiates Serotonin Centers is its integrated approach that combines clinical oversight with personalized wellness coaching.

Serotonin offers a structured and mandatory training program to ensure franchisees and their staff are fully prepared to operate within the franchise system. The training programs offered by the franchisor include the following:
Initial Training Program: This must be completed by the franchisee (or Operating Principal) and the designated Manager before opening the franchise. The program is offered at Serotonin's headquarters, another specified location, or virtually, and is held at least quarterly. It includes instruction in general operations and clinical services, and is mandatory for operating the business.
Clinical Protocols Training: Authorized Care Providers are required to complete third-party vendor training on administering Proprietary Services such as hormone and IV therapies. Completion of this training to Serotonin’s satisfaction is required before these services can be provided.
Replacement and Additional Staff Training: If any trained staff leave the business, their replacements must complete the necessary management and clinical training within 30 days. Additional training is charged at $500 per person per day, plus expenses.
Territory Protection
Serotonin grants its franchisees a defined “Approved Territory,” typically determined as a three-mile drivable radius from the approved franchise location. Within this territory, and provided the franchisee complies with the agreement terms, Serotonin agrees not to establish or authorize another franchised business.
This territory is formalized in Schedule 1 of the franchise agreement, and franchisees must refrain from soliciting business outside of it without written permission. However, the protection has significant limitations.
Serotonin retains broad rights to conduct various business operations inside and outside the Approved Territory, including selling products online, through mail order, or at non-traditional venues like trade shows or “pop-up” locations.
