Training

Power Trucks USA provides a comprehensive training program to ensure that franchisees and their staff are fully equipped to operate their store in compliance with system standards. Training is required for the Managing Owner and one designated manager and must be completed within 45 days of the business start date. The training program may include classroom and on-the-job instruction and can be conducted at a franchisor-designated facility or remotely via web conferencing.

  1. Initial Training Program: The Managing Owner and one manager must complete this training before the store opens. If more than two individuals attend, the franchisee pays an additional fee of $300 per person. Additionally, at least one employee must complete window tinting training from an approved supplier for $1,200 per person.
  2. System-Wide Training Program: The franchisor may require franchisees to attend annual system-wide training at a designated location for up to five days. Franchisees are responsible for all related travel and lodging expenses.
  3. Supplemental Training: If a new Operating Manager is hired or operational standards are not met, the franchisor may require additional training. This is subject to a fee of $500 per trainer per day, plus travel expenses.

Territory Protection

Power Trucks USA grants its franchisees a Designated Territory once an approved Store Location is secured. The size of this territory is typically either a 10-mile radius from the store or an area with a population of 100,000 people.

Within this area, the franchisor commits that, as long as the franchisee complies with all agreement terms, it will not establish or authorize another franchise using its system and marks inside that territory.

However, Power Trucks USA also reserves several rights that can limit the exclusivity of this protection. For instance, the franchisor can still use other distribution channels, including online sales, catalog sales, and telemarketing, to reach customers within the franchisee’s territory.
