Training

Molly Tea provides a structured training program to prepare franchisees and their management teams for operational success:

  1. Initial Training Program: The franchisee, Operating Principal, and manager must complete a seven-day training session at the corporate office or other designated locations, followed by a 20-day on-site training at the franchisee’s Molly Tea Store. This training includes classroom instruction and hands-on operations training. If additional employees are trained, a fee of $3,000 per person applies.
  2. Training Completion and Replacement Requirements: All designated trainees must meet admission and performance standards. If a trainee fails, the franchisee must promptly designate a replacement, who must also complete the program before store opening. Failure to do so may delay the opening or lead to termination of the franchise agreement.
  3. Additional and Remedial Training: Molly Tea may offer or require ongoing training sessions, seminars, or remedial programs for franchisee management and staff. The franchisee must cover all costs, including travel, lodging, and meals, and ensure employees complete training within specified timelines.
  4. System-Wide Conferences and Meetings: Franchisees may be required to attend periodic system-wide or personal meetings hosted by Molly Tea to stay updated on brand standards and practices. Attendance may incur a reasonable participation fee.

Territory Protection

Molly Tea grants franchisees a designated territory as defined in the Franchise Agreement, which may be based on demographic, geographic, and economic factors.
