Mobiledumps Franchise FDD, Costs & Fees (2025)

Mobiledumps is a dumpster rental franchise offering convenient, mobile dumpster services for residential and commercial cleanouts, renovations, and more.

Mobiledumps is a mobile dumpster rental franchise. It was founded in late 2018 by entrepreneur Cam Morrison in Richmond, Virginia, and the brand is still headquartered at 3425-B W Leigh Street in Richmond.

The company formed Mobiledumps Franchising, LLC on September 14, 2021, and began offering franchise territories in November 2021. Today, the network is expanding across the United States with more than 30 franchise units in operation.

Franchisees rent out 14-cubic-yard, wheel-based dumpster trailers that feature swing-open doors and low decks for easy loading. Customers book drop-off and pick-up online through the proprietary DumpIT software, which automates scheduling, invoicing, and payments.

Mobiledumps differentiates itself from traditional roll-off dumpsters and junk-removal firms through driveway-safe trailers, fixed-price service, a home-based operating model, and comparatively low entry costs.

Training

Mobiledumps provides structured training to franchisees to help them effectively launch and operate their dumpster service business. Here are the key training programs offered by the franchisor:

  1. Initial Training Program
Mobiledumps offers an initial training program at no charge for participation, though franchisees are responsible for related travel and lodging expenses. Training covers up to four individuals for up to two days and takes place either at the company's Richmond, Virginia office or another designated location. Additional participants beyond four may attend at a cost of $750 per person.
  2. Training Scope and Travel Expenses
The training is expected to include various operational topics necessary for running the business, though the exact curriculum isn’t itemized. The franchisee must budget for transportation, meals, and accommodation during the training period. The expenses will vary depending on travel distance, preferred travel mode, and number of attendees.
  3. Customized Training Option
While the standard training is limited to four individuals, Mobiledumps allows for flexibility by providing approval for additional participants if needed. This ensures that franchisees who need a broader management team trained from the outset have that option. The additional cost helps tailor the training to the scale and needs of the individual franchisee’s operation.

Territory Protection

Mobiledumps provides each franchisee with a “Protected Area” to operate their business. While franchisees are encouraged to locate within this area, it is not mandatory. Once a site is selected, it is officially recorded in the Franchise Agreement.

The Protected Area offers limited territorial rights and does not guarantee full exclusivity. The franchisor may still conduct national or online marketing that reaches into other territories. However, Mobiledumps will not open another franchise location within a Protected Area without the franchisee’s consent.
