Training

Grasons provides a comprehensive set of training programs to support its franchisees throughout the lifecycle of their business operations. The types of training offered by the franchisor are:

  1. Initial Training: Grasons conducts an initial training program for the Operating Principal and general managers, which must be completed to the franchisor’s satisfaction before the franchisee can open. This training spans 5 to 6 days, with the 6th day being optional, and includes classroom instruction, lectures, on-the-job demonstrations, and practice, held in Huntington Beach, CA or virtually.
  2. Pre-Opening Training: This is made available to the Operating Principal and one additional employee at the franchisor's headquarters or another designated location. Additional attendees may join with prior approval. This must be completed within 90 days after the effective date of the agreement.
  3. Market Introduction Plan Training: The franchisor provides advisory support to help the franchisee plan and execute their market entry effectively.
  4. On-Site Opening Assistance: If requested, Grasons will send a representative to provide at least two days of on-site assistance and training during the business launch.

Territory Protection

Grasons provides limited territorial protection to its franchisees, assigning them a defined territory with a minimum population of 400,000. Within this area, the franchisor will not license others to operate under the Grasons brand, unless the franchisee is in default or cannot meet client demand.

However, the territory is not exclusive. Grasons reserves the right to operate or license similar businesses under different names and to sell products or services through other channels like the Internet or direct marketing.
