Training

The Brixx Wood-Fired Pizza franchise provides a structured and multi-level training program for its franchisees, which includes the following:

  1. Initial Training Program: Franchisees (owners or senior managers) are required to attend and successfully complete an Initial Training Program before the restaurant opens. This program is conducted at a designated training location and is designed to equip attendees with essential skills to manage a Brixx location. The cost for up to four people is included in the initial franchise fee, although travel, lodging, and other related expenses must be borne by the franchisee.
  2. Management Training Program: This program must be completed by the franchisee or their managing representative no later than eight weeks prior to the restaurant’s opening. It includes 26–29 hours of classroom training and 255 hours of on-the-job training. It certifies participants to manage the Brixx System and train others.
  3. Position-Specific Training: Assistant managers and kitchen managers are required to complete a five-week on-the-job training program at a designated location. This is also included in the initial franchise fee, though related expenses such as wages and travel are the franchisee’s responsibility.
  4. Grand Opening Training: A trainer is sent by the franchisor to assist in staff training at the franchisee's restaurant for up to one week before opening. This support is part of the initial franchise fee.

Territory Protection

Brixx Wood-Fired Pizza grants a protected territory to franchisees, typically a 1.5 to 3-mile radius based on the area's population. Within this zone, Brixx won’t allow another full-service, dine-in restaurant using its brand, as long as the franchisee is in good standing.

However, this protection excludes “Reserved Locations” like airports, malls, and stadiums, even if they fall within the franchisee's area. Brixx and its affiliates may also advertise, solicit, and fulfill orders anywhere, so franchisees may still face competition from other branded outlets or channels.
