Training

Boba Nation provides a comprehensive, structured training program designed to ensure that franchisees operate their business to the brand’s standards. The training components are as follows:

  1. Initial Management Training Program
Franchisees, including up to two principals and one general manager, must attend a ten-day Initial Management Training Program conducted at the franchisor’s headquarters or an affiliated outlet. This training must be completed to the franchisor’s full satisfaction prior to opening. While there is no tuition fee for the initial trainees, franchisees are responsible for all related expenses including travel, lodging, and meals.
  2. Opening Assistance
Boba Nation provides on-site opening assistance by a trained representative for up to two days at no additional charge. This support helps ensure a smooth launch of the franchised business. The trainer assists with real-time guidance and operational setup.
  3. Ongoing and Additional Training
The franchisor may require franchisees to attend ongoing training, including annual national meetings or conventions, not exceeding five days per year. Attendance is mandatory, and failure to attend is considered a default of the franchise agreement. Franchisees cover all costs, including any tuition, travel, and accommodations.
  4. Remedial Training
Upon request or as deemed necessary, Boba Nation will provide on-site remedial training. This service costs $350 per trainer per day, in addition to travel and related expenses. This ensures franchisees receive extra support when performance or standards fall short.

Territory Protection

Boba Nation provides franchisees with a defined territory that is outlined in their Franchise Agreement. This “Designated Territory” is typically the smaller of either a two-mile radius or an area with a population of 20,000 people, and is shaped by various demographic and geographic factors.

During the agreement’s term, and provided the franchisee is in compliance, the franchisor agrees not to open another Boba Nation location or grant rights to others to do so within that territory.

However, the territorial protection is not fully exclusive. Boba Nation retains the right to distribute its products and services within the franchisee's territory through alternate channels such as grocery stores, gift shops, airports, and the internet.
