Training

Tapville Social provides several training programs for its franchisees, which are detailed below:

  1. Initial Training Program
The franchisor offers an initial training program for up to four employees of the franchisee. This program must be completed approximately three weeks before the opening of the franchised business. It covers topics such as sales and marketing methods, financial controls, quality standards maintenance, customer service techniques, record-keeping, reporting procedures, and operational issues. The training includes up to one week at the corporate location and may also involve on-field training within the franchisee's territory.
  2. Opening Assistance
Training personnel from the franchisor visit the franchisee’s location for up to three days prior to the Grand Opening and three days after. This on-site training focuses on familiarizing the staff with Tapville Social’s operational techniques and providing guidance during the initial phase.
  3. Ongoing Training Programs
The franchisor may require the franchisee to attend ongoing training programs or seminars. These can be conducted either at the franchisor's location or the franchisee's site, with expenses borne by the franchisee. Attendance is limited to a maximum of two sessions per year, collectively spanning no more than four full days.

Territory Protection

Tapville Social offers limited territory protection to its franchisees. Each franchise is awarded a designated territory defined by a radius of three miles or a population of 50,000 people, whichever is smaller.

The specific territory is established based on factors such as demographics, traffic patterns, and proximity to major roads. This territory is exclusive for the type of license specified in the franchise agreement, meaning no other franchisees can operate a similar Tapville Social outlet within the same area.

Despite this protection, franchisees may face competition within their territory from other Tapville Social businesses or alternative distribution channels operated by the franchisor. The franchisor reserves the right to sell products or services online, through other channels, or from company-owned outlets without compensating the franchisee.
