Sticky's Restaurant Franchise FDD, Costs & Fees (2025)

Sticky's Restaurant serves a variety of chicken finger dishes with creative sauces and sides, offering a casual and flavorful dining experience.

Sticky's Finger Joint is a fast-casual restaurant franchise specializing in gourmet chicken fingers and house-made sauces. Founded in 2012 in New York City, Sticky's was created to fill a gap in the market for high-quality, creative chicken finger offerings. The brand's mission is to deliver "The Best Damn Chicken Finger" experience in a fun, inclusive environment.

Sticky's is headquartered at 24 East 23rd Street, New York, NY 10010. The company began franchising in December 2022 under Sticky’s Franchising LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. The franchise offers a menu featuring fresh, never-frozen, antibiotic-free chicken fingers, sandwiches, wraps, salads, French fries, and an array of over 18 in-house sauces.

What sets Sticky's apart is its commitment to quality ingredients and a unique dining atmosphere. Each location showcases original murals by local artists, plays energetic music, and stays open late to cater to a diverse clientele.

Training

Sticky’s Franchising provides a comprehensive and multi-phase training program to prepare franchisees and their teams for effective restaurant operation. The structured programs are as follows:

  1. Initial Training Program: Franchisees, including the managing owner, Restaurant General Manager, and Crew Leaders, must complete initial training which includes 10 hours of classroom training and 40 hours of on-the-job training. This training covers various areas such as back-of-house (BOH) and front-of-house (FOH) procedures, food safety, equipment handling, customer service, and operational systems at a corporate location in New York or New Jersey.
  2. Follow-Up Training and Support: Sticky’s may conduct on-site training and support visits after the restaurant opens, which include personalized guidance in areas like sales, equipment usage, and customer service standards. Any additional or special guidance during this period is charged based on the company’s standard fees and includes travel and personnel costs.
  3. Ongoing and Refresher Training: Franchisees and their experienced staff are required to attend periodic training sessions provided by Sticky’s either online or in person. These may include annual national meetings and other operational updates, with a cap of 10 in-person training days annually, and up to 3 days for required meetings.

Territory Protection

Sticky’s Franchising offers its franchisees a defined territory when the restaurant is located at a traditional site. The boundaries of this territory are determined solely by the franchisor and typically are based on zip codes with a minimum protected radius of two miles in suburban areas and two blocks in urban zones.

Within this area, franchisees are expected to operate exclusively from the approved premises and may not relocate without prior approval. However, this territory is not exclusive in the fullest sense.

Sticky’s reserves extensive rights to operate or authorize others to operate restaurants under different trademarks or at non-traditional venues within or outside the assigned territory.
